Bentley: 10-12 Months Old

10 Months Old:
*Bel's favorite food is sweet potatoes and asparagus.
*Dances when she hears music or when you say "Dancin' Dancin'"
*Walks all over the house with her walker.
*Favorite movie is Frozen. Seriously she is obsessed!
*Now has 2 top teeth and 2 bottom teeth.

Church is now becoming very difficult with this little one! She just wants to talk and play so lots of time is spent in the hallway! haha

11 Months Old:
*Bentley likes to be chased and screams when she is trying to get away.
*Does really well standing on her own as long as she is holding a toy in her had to distract her.
*Doesn't like to be told "no no"
*Loves her sippy cup.

1 YEAR OLD:
*Bentley is now walking all over the place.
*She is the perfect mixture of sassy and sweet.
*Finally said "mama" the day after her 1st birthday.
*Now has 4 top teeth and 2 bottom.

Bentley has the best little personality and loves to play with her daddy! Still is a major mamas girl and loves to cuddle!

The Holidays! 2015

Gahhhh I'm so far behind when it comes to the holidays! We've got Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas! So naturally we will start with Halloween. This year Bentley got two different costumes! First she was a Cabbage Patch Doll and she was so perfect for it! It was so cute! A lady that I used to work with gave Bel the wig as a gift and then I just went and had a onsie made to go with it. So easy! Everyone was just loving it at Trunk-or-Treat.

Then for the night of trick-or-treating with her cousins she was the cutest cow! It was so adorable, and it was much warmer to be out in the cold...and it was freezing! Her first Halloween turned out great! She loved being able to be "one of the big kids" and go out with her cousins...even though I had her in her carrier against me so that she would stay warm enough. But she sure did get a lot of candy! :) Daddy and I loved it! haha

For Bel's first Thanksgiving she sure enjoyed trying all of the yummy foods! She wasn't really a fan of mashed potatoes though....I don't think she liked the texture too much! We first went over to my aunt Shauna's house with my moms side of the family. Benny had to work till 3 on Thanksgiving so he had to miss that part, but then when he got off we went to Benny's Dads house for a second Thanksgiving. It was a fun holiday spent will all of our family. I am so grateful this year for our beautiful blessing of our daughter! She has brought so much joy to our family!

Merry Christmas from The Lock's!

This year was so much fun! The magic of Christmas is amazing when you have your own kids...even if she is still young! Christmas first started off at my parents house on Christmas Eve when they surprised us with an amazing gift! They gave us all a trip to Cancun, Mexico! We will be going this June and we are all so excited!

We decided to stay over at my sisters house one last year while Bentley is still young, and next year we will stay at our own home so Santa can come visit us there. Bentley was spoiled by Santa and the whole family! She got so many cute toys and outfits! This Christmas she learned how to dance by Grandpa Craig and then even said "Grandpa". I'm not even kidding you....I really think she said it and I have a video to prove it! And to back it up here we are a month later and she is saying "Gampa" all the time! It's the cutest!

I also had to have a little photo shoot with Bel and Christmas lights! Before I was even pregnant I would see pictures like this and I could not wait to do them with my baby one day!

Bentley: 6-9 Months Old

As soon as Bentley turned 9 months old my Grandma said "Can you even believe that she has been here now as long as your were pregnant?" No, honestly I can't even believe it! Watching Bel grow and learn new things every day is so amazing! It's even the small things...one night we sat down for dinner and I broke up some food for Bentley and she started picking it up and putting it in her own mouth and Benny was so excited. (I had seen her do it several times since I stay home with her) and Benny just smiled and said "Seriously the amount of pride I feel right now..." all because she was feeding herself! And its so true!! Every time she does new things... rolling, crawling, saying "dada", we get so excited and feel like the most proud parents in the world! It truly is the best.

6 Months Old:
*Bel now has 2 bottom teeth
*Sleeps on her belly (as soon as I lay her in her crib it's and instant roll over)
*Sleeps 9-10 hours a night
*Rolls to her belly non-stop, but then doesn't want to roll back
*Loves peaches, pears, squash, and sweet potatoes
*HATES peas (literally gags)
*So close to sitting on her own
*Wears 9 month clothing
*Loves to nap with mom
*Laughs and anything and everything Daddy does

7 Months Old:
*Bel weighs 20 lbs.
*Sits up on her own (with an occasional topple)
*Says "mmmm" when she eats her baby food
*Tries so hard to crawl
*Loves to give lots of kisses
*Still sleeps 9-10 hours at night
*Finally napping in her crib instead of in her swing or on the couch

8 Months Old:
*So happy and always on the move
*Crawls all over the place
*Now has 4 teeth. 2 on top and 2 on bottom
*Loves to sit on her own and play with her toys
*She is a major mamas girl
*Starting to pull herself up on things to stand

9 Months Old:
*Her first word was "Dada" and she says it all the time
*Loves to stand up next to anything and walks along side of the funiture
*She is becoming a really fast crawler
*When I turn music on she tries to "sing along"
*Went to Disneyland for the first time
*Went to her first movie (The Good Dinosaur)

From Months 1 to 9! Our baby girl is getting so big!

Bentley: 1-5 Months Old

Our little girl is 5 months old! How did that even happen? She is the best little baby and makes every day so much fun! I look back at my notebook that I write in about little milestones and what not about Bentley and its crazy to see how much she has grown! She has gained 10 lbs and grown just about 6 inches since she was born. What a little chunker!

Every month on her monthly "birthday" I take her picture! It still shocks me how much she grows each month! Seriously....month 1 to month 5 is insane! Where has my tiny baby gone? Oh, how I love those rolls of hers! They are just so kissable!

1 MONTH OLD:
*Now has a double chin
*Newborn clothes are becoming too small
*Still in newborn diapers
*Smiles when talked to
*Loves to sleep on your chest
*Bath time is her favorite

2 MONTHS OLD: *Tells lots of stories

*Sleeping 7-8 hours a night

*Loves to eat

*Weight: 12 lbs 12 oz

*Height: 22.5 inches long

3 MONTHS OLD:
*Loves to cuddle in the morning
*So close to giggling

*Likes to sit in her bumbo
*Holds her head up so well
*Weight: 13.5 lbs

4 MONTHS OLD:
*Laughs all the time
*Grabs her toys
*She loves to hold onto her feet
*Loves to FaceTime Daddy at work
*Weight: 16.3 lbs
*Height: 25 inches

5 MONTHS OLD:
*Rolls over! And then gets mad whens she can't roll back.
*So close to sitting on her own
*Loves to lay on your lap and hang off the edge
*Weight: 17.5 lbs

Summer time with our family!

Bel has loved going to pool and swimming even though she didn't quite understand how to splash around in the water yet. I'll have to prepare myself for next summer when she is running around non-stop! :)
